Description

The Solenoid and Filter is a combined part in the gas-control system of the Portek Scatterbird MK3. The electrically operated solenoid controls a point in the gas path, while the filter helps prevent unwanted particles from passing into the connected equipment. This assembly is separate from the jet shown alongside it.

Portek identifies the component as Item No. 8 in the exploded diagram and lists Part No. 031/08. Check that number and the plug-and-gasket arrangement shown in the image against the existing machine before ordering.
