The Spark Generator creates the electrical pulse used by the Portek Scatterbird MK4 ignition system. It works with the high-tension lead, insulated cap and spark plug to produce a spark at the required point. This is the replacement to check when the generator itself has failed or suffered damage, rather than replacing unrelated gas components.
