1,050 Litre Insulated CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank is fitted with 13mm or 25mm insulation and a Type AB-Air gap with weir overflow (Fluid 5), which is a non-mechanical backflow prevention arrangement of fittings in compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales and the technically identical Scottish Water Byelaws 2004. The installation and use of cold water storage cisterns and sectional tanks connected to the public water supply must comply with these conditions.

These INS17221101CAT5 1,050 Litre Insulated CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank are made from rotationally moulded polyethene, fitted with a cowled overflow to prevent the ingress of light into the tank and a stainless steel mesh to prevent the ingress of debris into the tank. Larger weirs can be specially made for larger inlets.

This arrangement of fittings for compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales and the technically identical Scottish Water Byelaws 2004. The installation and use of cold water storage cisterns and sectional tanks connected to the public water supply must comply with these conditions.
